In late-2019, Todd Chrisley revealed that he and his wife had been indicted by a grand jury in Georgia on charges of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, wire fraud, and tax evasion. Even though it had been years since Lindsie had last appeared on Chrisley Knows Best at that time, she was soon drawn into the drama. After all, Lindsie filed a police report claiming that her father and brother Todd threatened to release a private and intimate recording of her unless she helped her parents fight the criminal charges.
